Up for bid and, according to McKeown, is the more valuable Zeiss Ikon "Baby Box" Camera 54/18 (E). This camera was manufactured in Germany between 1931-34. This particular "Baby Box" came with the focusing Novar Anastigmat f/6.3 5cm lens with a distance focus ring of 1 meter up to infinity and aperature settings of f/6.3, 8, and 11. The shutter has settings of instant, time, and bulb. (The regular "baby box" had only a fixed lens and instant shutter with a single aperature opening). I would rate the condition of this item as a 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 on a scale of 10. The leatherette is good all around except worn just around the edges (see pictures), although not terribly noticable. The shutter fires as it should and also works on time and bulb....Please Note that shutter will not activate until wire sight frame is completely pulled out!! Lens is scratch-free and metal front has patina and normal wear considering the age. The back has embossed on the leather "Box Tengor". Camera uses 127 film. Feel free to ask any questions.
